POSITION DETAILS

Qualifications

• Maryland State or Multi-State LPN/RN nursing license (active, unencumbered)
• MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF APPLIED LPN OR RN EXPERIENCE
• Reliable transportation within Prince George's County and the surrounding areas.
• Current CPR/BLS
• Current negative TB
  
  

Schedule

• Full-time - 30 to 40 hours a week (7am-3pm or 8am-4pm; specific hours may vary)
• Part-time - 20 to 25 hours a week (8am-12pm; specific hours may vary)
• On Standby - PRN start upon hire; Part-time/Full-time start immediately upon a posted vacancy or at the next available school year start date.

Clinical & Physical Capabilities

• Safe medication administration and care-plan documentation
• Comfort with: Seizure precautions, G-/MIC-KEY-tubes, tracheostomy care, diabetes management, straight/Foley catheterization (All topics are reviewed in mandatory training led by the RoHealth Clinical Supervisor regardless of prior experience.)
• Prolonged standing; repositioning; ambulation support
• Lifting up to 60 lbs
• Working around young children (play, standing, sitting); assisting with daily routines
